nigeltde: if trixie could just think hard enough she would undo everything (sexy lexy)
So now John Pyper Ferguson and Callum Keith Rennie have been (totally wasted) on Smallville. C'mon Bernie and Hugh, what are you waiting for? I would love to see Joe Dick in that milieu. Maybe he could spit on Lana.

Meanwhile Michael Rosenbaum please give me a call when you find something else to be sexy and intense and bald in.

The latest SV: OMG in some bits, OMGSOHOT in other bits, OMGCHEESE in other bits, OMGPUKE in a couple of bits (ie Lana scenes). So at least I wasn't bored. Although the Lana bits really were repulsive.

Just got back from seeing Alexander. ARRRRRGH! So frustrated! I went in expecting it to be really abysmal and in some ways it was, and yet in others it had some promise, and I'm just like, oh, the wasted potential! It was at LEAST half an hour longer than it needed to be, and yet, as [livejournal.com profile] frostmourne said, that wouldn't have been a problem if it had actually been INTERESTING. But it wasn't! It was just boring and occasionally irritating! And I wasn't disappointed because I had such low expectations but the source material is one of my favourite ever books and so when they got a bit right, I thought, oh! Possibilities! But no.

Spoilers and ranting )
In short: train wreck, a veritable how-not-to of directing and writing. But good for Jared Leto perving!

Also finally saw the latest SV. John Pyper Ferguson, oh my god! Criminally underused (has about 5 min of screen time) but still good to see him. Amusingly, plays a psychiatrist/mental hospital doctor.
