today's word of the day is: aphasia.

Belly Loss setback, due to obsessive and excessive consumption of chocolate and Ginger Nuts. Hmm.

On the plus side, have borrowed cool Dictionary of Symbols book from the library and now feel smart. Also got relatively good mark on Modern History essay, going some way to making up recent crap marks in Modern History and English, not to mention almost certainly failed English test. Also spent much time 'analysing' Perfect Drug video, really just perving on Trent and wanting his coat. I am so superficial, and I love it. Will also get over silly diary style writing soon, I promise.

Disappointed in The Wanton Seed. I liked Clockwork Orange and One Hand Clapping, but this one's just silly. Also think characters are vapid and boring and have given up halfway through. Now face choice between The Loved One (picked up at a book sale, looked interesting) and Neverwhere (for the millionth time). Will decide tomorrow at breakfast. Sleep calls.
