Aug. 21st, 2010 11:06 pmwell, that just happened. Is happening. Oh loooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooord.
It sure was hard to watch Smith and Wong and other Labor pundits get quieter, shrinking like red columns as Minchin et al's smugness grew and grew. Shudder me timbers. They brought it on themselves and god knows they didn't deserve my vote (and didn't get it); these results are just as ugly and narrow as the campaigns themselves.
But Christ, if Abbott ends up being the dude that walks around, out in the daylight in front of like cameras and decent and knowledgeable and human people, and represents this country, I am not quite sure how to bear the shame.
