Ever since my dad's girlfriend moved in last year everything about my dad's house has changed so much that the only place I feel comfortable in is my bedroom. On the weekend I discovered that my room has white ants. They came up through the floor and into my bookcase and had started EATING MY BOOKS. Fuckers! My BOOKS! I feel so violated. My poor books. Now not even my room is my own. sob. sob. wah.

I made a Big Pimping Neubauten CD for my new very musically savvy friend Ben (who I believe to be the only actual friend I have made since I left high school, I am so socially retarded). This CD is so pimping the fur coat and goldfish platforms are visible at 50 000 feet.

80 minutes of hell yeah. I would've included some tracks from Haus Der Luege but I just gave him a copy of the whole thing as well.



Bought Boys for Pele by Tori Amos the other day for only ten bucks, I couldn't resist - bloody Ben showed me a very extensive and el cheapo CD/DVD/Video store, fucker, as if I should be spending more money now. CD is v. good though, a high proportion of really excellent tracks - Professional Widow is one of my favourite songs atm from anyone.

The primary book I am reading for pleasure atm is Desolation Island, an Aubrey/Maturin. The only copy the libaray had was is large print. Free Advice From Me To You: Never read large print if you can avoid it. It is fucking irritating, it fucks with my eyes and my brain and my sense of the devision of text into paragraphs and such, and there is so much white on the page you could fly an aeroplane through a lowercase o. On the other hand, there is a definite although misleading pleasure at being wow, such a fast reader.

Tomorrow I WILL get the last 1602, WW #201 and 202 and Supes/Bats #7 if I have to kill someone. Be forewarned.

what's the difference between white ants and termites? I thought they were the same thing!

Nope, white ants and termites are different - although not by much. The main difference is that although they prefer the dark, white ants won't die when exposed to sunlight - termites do.
