Feb. 12th, 2004 01:12 pmCan Bush not see his hypocrisy at *all*? [Bush] praised the decision of the Libyan leader, Colonel Gaddafi, to abandon the pursuit of WMDs and said he expected other countries to follow his lead or face international isolation, economic hardship and "other unwelcome consequences".
"The greatest threat before humanity today is the possibility of secret and sudden attack with chemical or biological or radiological or nuclear weapons," said Mr Bush....
"I've made clear to all the policy of this nation: America will not permit the terrorists and dangerous regimes to threaten us with the world's most dangerous weapons." (my italics)
Is that a threat, Mr Bush? You, who "run" a country with INCREDIBLE NUCLEAR POWER? And this, coming on the heels of Lybia and the UK's buddy-buddy shakehands now that Lybia's quit its WMD program. "We're so happy Lybia has finally seen the light," said Mr Blair to reporters yesterday. "Now we don't have to bomb the crap out of them for having WMDs."
Meanwhile, I think that a country being run by a man who wasn't even legally elected might come under the definition of an "outlaw nation".
