Just wanna show off the icon that lainy122 made for me - one of my favourite moments from one of my favourite eps from one of my favourite shows! Thanks lainy! *snogs you*

I've also been trying to make a QAF UK icon but it seems there are NO PICTURES of this show AT ALL on the internet which is really fucking weird considering the hotness of everyone in it *goes to search some more* (and look at the extras on the new DVD set coming out. Damn I need some money.)

Also saw Master & Commander the other day, and I didn't actually enjoy it as much as I expected to - I mean, it was good and all, and Russell Crowe and Paul Bettany and Billy Boyd were all great, and there were child actors that actually didn't piss me off, but it was all kind of...meh..... Could be the cinema I saw it at had a screen the size of a thimble and the print quality was absolutely awful. Although the movie itself was very good-looking, what I could see of it (I was so pissed, there were always these neon green lines and spots and they were always in the middle of someone's face, especially if they were pretty). Needless to say I'm never going back there again.

Well, it was good, quite good, and some bits - especially the character stuff - were really excellent; it just wasn't as good as I'd hoped.

well acually, now I really *want* to read the books! And now I hear that there's a lot of detail about ships and stuff and that's such a turn on. So seeing as I don't have enough money to go see movies, I think I'll just read the twenty or so novels for the rest of the hols :-D

My dad says the books are alright, if you can get past the fact that Obrian is a huge stickler for fact and detail. But then again, we made it through the LotR, didnt we? *bg*
