absolutely fucking ridiculous. Seems like the Vatican can't breathe for making wrong calls:
The Catholic Church is telling people in countries stricken by Aids not to use condoms because they have tiny holes in them through which the HIV virus can pass - potentially exposing thousands of people to risk.

Yes, they'll be responsible for the national deficit next. And to think people thought condoms had some legitimate 'scientific' basis! This 'science' stuff has always sounded fishy to me.

What tends to annoy me is how often people manage to get "science" to say whatever they want it to say.

Maybe its because they secretly think that AIDS is 'God's Punishment' & condoms are getting in the way of the 'apocalyptic virus' doing it's 'holy work' - but too hypocritical & wary of the backlash to just come out & say it.
