So, I was desperately trying to fill the void that no new Justice League episodes makes, and I thought I'd give The Tick a try, I'd heard some good things about it.

Oh man, what a gem. Absolutely hilarious - some of the best one-liners ever, a lot of which is due to Townsend Coleman's brilliant voiceing.
Tick: Destiny's powerful hand has made the bed of my future, and it's up to me to lie in it. I am destined to be a superhero. To right wrongs, and to pound two-fisted justice into the hearts of evildoers everywhere. And you don't fight destiny! No sir! And, you don't eat crackers in the bed of your future, or you get all... scratchy.

And not only that, but it's so wonderfully, wonderfully queer. Lydia, if you haven't seen any of this show yet, get yourself a copy pronto!

I know of the show, but I've never seen it. Is this on free to air atm?

erm, I don't think so, actually; I've been downloading it. I'm not even sure if it's ever been shown on free-to-air here. The mix of 'parody' 'superhero' and 'cartoon' probably wouldn't appeal to our blockhead networks :-(

No, it has been, my brother mentioned seeing it. Not much point me downloading eps - I can never play anything but shorty-short-short movies - need a gutsier 'puter :-( I'll keep an eye out.
