Tonight, on Channel Ten's News: A school is teaching kids rodeo! Said in that 'awww, bless' kinda tone. As if it's so fucking iconic. Yay, we're Australians! We're cruel to animals, and get kicked in the head a lot! Whee!

I know! It's fucking insane! Rodeos suck ass. I can't believe they're perpetuating that whole 'rodeos are a wholesome and traditional pastime' myth. Argh.

As for the Holy Grail DVD, the extras just written down make me laugh. I can't wait for the real thing!

Mystery Science Theater 3000 once did a short called "Junior Rodeo". It was one of their finest moments.
If we didn't have people out there doing rodeos, getting kicked in the head, we wouldn't have people like me to sit on the couch and laugh at my TV screen.

Humans do enough stupid violent shit to themselves that we get to laugh at; I do wish they wouldn't keep throwing animals into the mix.
