So I went to the peace rally after all, and I'm so glad I did. Apparently almost 100 000 people turned up today. That is a tenth of the population of this city. Incredible. And this is before the war has even started. Before today I really didn't think that the people would be able to have much of a say in the course of the war, seeing as the Bush + Co are pushing so damn hard for it. But fucking hell, the sheer numbers of people protesting - is it 2 million in London? Wowie. Howard must be shitting himself. You see him on the news, shaking hands with Bush etc, and the fear in his eyes is both hilarious and pitiful. He is way out of his depth. I can't imagine him being re-elected again.

Good for you. There was a peace rally in Seattle today, but I couldn't make it. My roomate went, and said the turnout was spectacular. I am SO going to the next one.
