I downloaded the preview for Max. That movie will be treading a fine line indeed. On my part, though, I'm really looking forward to seeing it. I trust Noah Taylor and John Cusack.

Also saw Two Towers today. No point in me gushing because y'all know what I'm talking about anyway. Suffice to say I Loved it, with a capital L. And now I'll bitch:
Goddamn, the fuck with Arwen and Eowyn? Are they supposed to be good, strong characters? I'd rather PJ left it as Tolkien wrote than have these lame-ass women in there. I'm so frickin sick of these 'She is a Strong Woman because she can use a weapon' character assasinations. Why did PJ choose to portray the only two significant female characters in TTT as lovelorn fools? Can they make any decisions at all by themselves?

Other than that, though. Very very cool. There were for more people than I extected; we got there at 8.50 for the 10.30 session and there were still people in the cinema before us. Lovely to see a nice turnout of geeks, very uniting.

Oh, I forgot to tell you yesterday - there's a couple of Pink Floyd posters in the Sanity on Pultney street, if you're interested. You might even get them on sale ;)

ooo, thankee for the thought. But I've not found many PF posters I like. I shell check them out, though.
