Sep. 19th, 2002 10:26 pmI just received an annoyingly low mark for one of my Modern History assignments. Normally I don't care, and I know I shouldn't now because I probably deserved it. But I spent almsot a day on it and it was about Dachau and I had to do a lot of research with primary sources and it really killed me. I couldn't think about it for hours afterwards without bursting into tears. I guess I feel that because I invested so much emotionally it translates to a good grade, which is a bit silly.
But I'm a silly person.
And really, it was 16/20. It's not like I failed.
OTOH, I've finally gotten around to reading The Loved One, by Evelyn Waugh. It's quite hilarious. Definitely reccommended.
