one to avoid
Oct. 30th, 2009 02:29 pmI don't like to give up halfway through a movie so even though the first fifteen minutes of Fuck, a talking heads/animated exposition documentary about the word, was boring and scattershot I was willing to see it through.
I turned it off and deleted it from my computer when it stepped into an animation about the grammatical wonders of the word that featured a huge-breasted/nippled woman tottering up to a man at a bar and propositioning him, prompting a discussion of her sexual merits between the man and the bartender, with a subsequent cutaway to the woman's legs in the air with a whole bunch of screams and vigorous plunging to illustrate "Dick fucks Jane" and "Jane was fucked by Dick." Give me a break.
It sounds like an interesting, smart and funny movie but don't even bother.
