So Supernatural tonight to praise with faint damning you were pretty much at your worst which is heavy-handed in construction and presenting some ~*~issues~*~ you and your fandom have with characters, which is to say at other times you were completely awesome!
I don't have scads to squee about except to say that Lucifer is very exciting and I appreciated Zacariah's lack of patience. Breaking Sam's legs was badass!
I found the Castiel stuff quite disconcerting. All of that MY BEST FRIEND CAS stuff and being all deux ex machina when it wasn't actually deus ex machining and levelling up from Also Starring and just generally being mysterious in an abrupt and violent way he isn't usually just made me think that if he was a girl and on the other side he would be Bela and everyone would hate him. Does that make sense? C'mon Kripke, stop telling us who is superawesome and just write the bloody show.
I wish Kripke could have read the open letter to himself before casting although I suppose with that one-line nurse character show wasn't as whitewashed as it can be, ha ha. We need to get Rufus all up in this shit to drive Bobby around. Their bitching would be EPIC.
I am pretty amused that they went so hardcore about fangirls. I wanted that character to be more clingy and keep trailing three blocks behind the Impala in her crappy Honda Jazz but I think the joke will get old fast if it keeps popping up.
Anyway after this gloomy set-up I look forward very much to the apocalypse crazy.
