Here's a time-sucker for you: IGN's top 100 animated shows. Easy to guess who's first but they've taken the time to write up every entry, which is awesome. Talk about a nostalgia trip. And talk about a tour through the history of Saturday morning cartoons and the history of televised animation itself.


Family Guy eats balls, and should be swapped with Spongebob, which has got to be one of the best things ever. It's one of the highest rated shows on bloody television. Harvey Birdman should be way higher.

Instead of five thousand incarnations of Spider-man and Robots Turning Into Things shows, how about a bit of love for some proper classics? Sitting in the They Were Robbed greenroom:
Wallace and Grommit (seriousy, wtf?
Fairly Oddparents
She-Ra, Princess of Power (way better than He-Man)
Captain Planet
Roger Ramjet
And they're not personal favourites, but I would think Sailor Moon and Daria would deserve a spot; especially because it's such a boy-centric list.


There's a metric fuckton of great theme songs in there, as well.

Oh my goodness that list missed so many of the good ones! Like Cow and Chicken! It was Emmy Award-nominated! That's almost as good as winning!!

And I can't believe Wallace and Grommit weren't on there, that is a real shame.
