I heard back in August that he was dying - they said then he only had weeks. It doesn't seem right - no Paul Newman anymore, does it?

I've been feeling the same way about it. Hard to deal with. Which is weird, because it's not like I knew him. I don't know, maybe it's because I'm Jewish and so was he. But whatever the explanation, I feel diminished.
