leave the music alone!
Sep. 10th, 2003 07:48 pmOh my god, Bush is going too fucking far.
Not only that, in the latest Big Issue there's an article about a new law in the US called the Illicit Drugs Anti-Proliferation Act. It says that venue owners/managers are responsible if anyone is caught using drugs on their premises. They can be fined up to $500 000 or get up to 20 years in prison. Furthermore, the act is written so broadly that apparently you're liable if your dinner guest gets caught smoking a joint. This is no way to stop people taking drugs, this is the way to make them take unsafe drugs in unsafe conditions.
Exactly what is it that makes Bush's administration think that the War on Drugs HAS ANY FUCKING REDEEMING QUALITIES AT ALL?
