ooh! I picked my courses.

Semester 1:
English IA, with an interesting booklist and a gothic option, which means EAP. (unfortunately, it also means Frankenstein, which I did for my major last year and have stressed enough over for a lifetime).
Argument and Critical Thinking - philosophy
Mind, Knowledge and God - more philosophy
Foundation of Linguistics - what can I say, I like words.

Semester 2:
Morality, Society and Individual - more philosophy
Justice, Law and Society - politics, but fits in nicely with philosophy and is also interesting, especially in these times.
Modern Imagination in Europe - European prose, poetry and art in a political context; cubism, German expressionism, French impressionism, Kafka, Baudelaire, Thomas Mann and more. Very cool.
From Elvis to U2 - a course about popular music! Wheeeee!

So semester two has the fun courses. But at last I get to choose what to study! And wow, I'm really boring. Stay away from me at parties.
