This is the guitar that, if I play my cards right, I will be getting for combined Xmas/birthday presents. Weee. And I'm finally reading The Princess Bride (I know, I know, I'm so uncultured...) and it's just as good as the movie. And I can steal all the voices from the movie and play it in my head and it's So! Cool!

On the other hand, the glandular fever seems to be rearing its ugly head again. Groanmoan. And I've used up pretty much all of the bandwidth for this month and won't be able to watch the rest of the Neubauten webcasts for aaaages. And Channel Nine continues to be such a bitch in regards to Smallville that even I'm considering complaining (believe it or not, I don't complain that much IRL). But I guess that's what TWoP is for.

The new dog is really gorgeous, and really nice and gentle. She and my aunty's dogs don't really get along (read: hate each other with the fiery passion of a thousand burning suns), but Sage (our other dog) protects her. And Sage is bigger than the other two. So it works out.

My mother and sister want to name her Riven, Bullet, or Jet. Luckily, my father backs me up in the abhorrence of said names. My sister suggested Piper, which I don't mind despite the Charmed references. Mainly because I find the shortened version amusing - Here, Pipe! Where's my Pipe? Good Pipe! Anything I suggest is apparently 'too pretentious'. Probably because I turn to literature or fandom for inspiration. Well, screw them! >:-P Anything's better than 'Riven'. They're not even computer geeks. They have no excuse.
