nigeltdeThe new dog is really gorgeous, and really nice and gentle. She and my aunty's dogs don't really get along (read: hate each other with the fiery passion of a thousand burning suns), but Sage (our other dog) protects her. And Sage is bigger than the other two. So it works out.
My mother and sister want to name her Riven, Bullet, or Jet. Luckily, my father backs me up in the abhorrence of said names. My sister suggested Piper, which I don't mind despite the Charmed references. Mainly because I find the shortened version amusing - Here, Pipe! Where's my Pipe? Good Pipe! Anything I suggest is apparently 'too pretentious'. Probably because I turn to literature or fandom for inspiration. Well, screw them! >:-P Anything's better than 'Riven'. They're not even computer geeks. They have no excuse.
