Date: 2007-06-22 11:13 pm (UTC)Wow, Britain's Got Talent is VERY different than America's Got Talent. No one would ever sing opera over here, and if they did, the audience would be booing like crazy, I'm sure. (And my husband thinks there's no difference between the US and the UK!)

Date: 2007-06-24 03:21 am (UTC)How incongruous is the Aerosmith? I hate that song! It's like they're desperately trying to inject some false relevance into the whole thing. It doesn't need it! His performance speaks for itself!
I don't watch Australia's got Talent, but I know that the winner of last year's Australian Idol sang Nessun Dorma during the competition. He was good but not as good as this guy! Who, btw, has subsequently won the competition, which is nice :-)
