okay, so I have half a minute to spare before Boston Legal comes on so here's the goss.

RL is packed at the moment, between working 6 out of 7 days and volunteering commitments and the Amnesty club and somehow stumbling across a social life. Fannish time pretty much amounts to grabbing eps of downloaded tv on the weekend, but WHAT tv! I've been catching up on some older series, Deadwood and Rescue Me are particularly noteworthy in the drama/comedy section, a few seasons of Strangers with Candy and QI in the comedy section. Some really classic stuff.

Of the most excellent is the return of gf Bumface (not her real name), a week after graduation and two months earlier than expected. Yeah, she likes surprises. FUCKER. But even though she was away longer than we were together we are closer than ever and it's awesome.

Of the not so great, a death in the family. Really sad--not devastating for me in particular but a real dude, and a bit of a shock although he was sick for a while.

Also having to work so much when I had 1000000001 things planned for these holidays. I always feel manky about bitching about work cause it's pretty damn cushy and pays well and my co-workers are cool enough and I know people who would kill for the job but dammit! I have THINGS! Things I wanna DO! VERY! IMPORTANT! THINGS!

Oh something else nice, I got crack_vanned today! Yay!

In summary: busy, stressful, but it's mostly good :-) And even if I'm not posting, I'm trying to keep an eye on you guys ;-)
