If there's one thing on a tv show or movie or that's guaranteed to make me start crying, it's people grieving for their loved ones. So thank god there's only two more episodes of Six Feet Under left to air over here.

Sally Field's scene at the end of Steel Magnolias, after she buries her daughter, is amazing. She'd been such a little powerhouse up to that point, holding everything and everyone together, and once Shelby's buried, she just flies apart. Briefly, of course, because she still has husband and sons and grandson to look after. It gets me *every* time, and I've seen that flick about a bajillion times.

I never finished watching Steel Magnolias, but if it's Sally Feild you know it's gonna be good. One of the ones that always gets me is the end of Philadelphia.

No, I gave up trying to follow it on free to air (shithouse reception and Channel Nine fucking around) so when they went on special I grabbed the DVDs. Got to about the beginning of Season 3 but Nate's Yummy Mummy squeeze and his wibbling on about the kid's shit really annoyed me, so I lost interest. I *will* finish it one of these days.

Yeah....Nate has Problems. :-D It never really reaches the height of the first two seasons but it's still better than a bunch of shit out there.
