Two of my favourite authors, both of whose journals I read regularly, and I MISSED THIS? *kicks self in head*
Next year's Continuum has Neil Gaiman AND Poppy Z Brite!!

I really wanna go, oh man. So exciting. I wonder if I have the guts to go to Melbourne and attend a con for the first time all by meself. Meep! I hope they have some comics panels!

I really think I'm going to go, if I can afford the time and money. Because two of my fav authors, I mean, how stupid would I be not to go? Plus a real live con and I have never been to one before!

Robin Hobb is a fantasy author, right? She's good? It would be SO! AWESOME! if we could go together! Eeeeeee!

I reckon it will be quite expensive, have you checked the site? Although tickets are cheaper if we buy before the end of the year.

Rates for first time con-goers are the same, but concession goes up. We'd be first timers though, wouldn't we? That would give us extra time to gather funds
