Wikipedia is the ultimate procrastination enabler. Seriously. How can you stay away when shit like this discussion of Wookie language appears in it?

Examples

So! Much! Love! for wikipedia. Check out wikipedians for amusing trivia and so on.

PS: I think it's safe to say, expect more random/insane/spammy posts from me tonight as I battle the essay demons once again.

You reminded me to look up an old thread on kifish history (http://www.perrochon.com/cherryh/discussions/thr108.html) I'd been meaning to archive for a while - and even came accross (surprise surprise) a reasonable Cherryh fanfic in the process ^^ (me & my obscure fandoms ... ;p )

Wikipedia is a black hole: once you enter, you never exit. But that's not a bad thing! *g* It's really nothing like a paper encyclopedia - for one thing, anybody can edit the entries, and for another, it has articles on pretty much any topic you can conceive of and several billion you can't.
