I'd forgotten how crap the original Buffy was; Joss's idea was realised so much better on the small screen.
Also, I think I reached some heretofore unseen level of patheticity (ye-es, that's a word... Want to take it outside, mister?) last night when I found myself bawling like a baby at the end of Gods and Monsters. I hope to hell it was hormones; every time I think of Brendan Fraser staggering off in the rain all monsterlike my body attempts to laugh and cry at the same time and it's rather scary.
