Plot summary for Alexander (the Oliver Stone version):

The Macedonian conqueror, Alexander the Great (356-323 B.C.), conquered almost the entire known world of his era. Though Alexander made use of the well-oiled army created by his father, he pushed the limits of Macedonian & Greek power to levels King Philip could not have dreamed of.

WELL-OILED hahahahahahahahahahahaha

Don't mind me, I'm a bit silly this morning as today'll be my first day back at uni.

What about India and especially *China*? They were certainly "known". And, as far as I know, Alexander conquered nothing west of Greece, either -- including Rome and naval power Carthage. The "known world of his era" went as far west as Spain.
