Jan. 18th, 2004 12:51 amFringe Guide came out today! I am definately going to see Rod Quantock, Ross Noble, and Candide, and perhaps I will have money left over after that to see others. We're so lucky to have the Fringe!
I saw Love Actually today in a gorgeous old-style cinema and felt very, well, cinematic. The movie itself was good, although leaving out a couple of the storylines might have helped (you get the impression they had to cut a LOT to get everyone in under time). A combo of hormones and severe lack of sleep meant that practically every time Liam Neeson (iwanttomarryhim!) came onscreen I burst into tears, that was a bit weird, but he did have a sad storyline. Also when Emma Thompson's character was sad. I want to marry her too, she is so wonderful, so warm and smart and strong and gorgeous, and a bloody good actress. And Alan Rickman played a dickhead, and he didn't even have a wig on! And I found Hugh Grant attractive! Shock.
