nigeltdeSo, went north to see the eclipse. No amount of gushing will do it justice, so insert your own. Hope I didn't ruin my eyes but have been having random head/eye pains so time will tell. There was a cool map where people put pins where they came from; many people from all over Australia, America, SE Asia, Japan, Europe. Hawaii even had a pin. I really, really like that map. V. v. lucky with cloud cover which was extremely heavy except during the eclipse and especially totality, which was just, wow. Guh. Apparently Mercury was in sight but I was too busy being amazed to actually look. Rates in with the Special Moments of Jessie's Life:

Well, that's all I can think of right now, which is pretty pathetic. And they've all happened in the last 13 months which speaks volumes of the quality of my memory. Meh.
Details of the new Nick Cave album out...lyrics look a bit iffy in places lol but I place my trust in the hands of the master. This one looks to be a bit harder rocking than the last two and the last song looks specatcular. wooooooo. V. excited. Bring on February.
Peter Garret has left Midnight Oil. Which is mind-bending. Christ. I've literally grown up with them. It's great that he can now concentrate on politics because I think he has some really, really fucking great ideas. Also sad that I've missed my one chance to go see them last month because of my stupid English exam.
Speaking of, only a couple of weeks till results come out. What fun. Wish I could bring myself to care :-P but I am just so over high school and will just take whatever I get.
