hello my pretties! Long time no post. My mum got sick in May, so that's kinda been happening to us for the last few months, as well as filling out a lot of forms for uni and gardening for my nonna. And feeding someone else's cat, that's about all I've been doing. And walking. And watching movies and stuff. I'm not one of those people that goes out and BUYS HOUSES when they get bored or gets like 500 NEW JOBS with the exact same awful workmates. I'm sorry. I'm just in awe.
It's so weird, I write a lot of posts in my head and that kind of satisfies the need; helps me organise my thoughts. Never write them out though. But I need to get into the typing habit. Yes I would dearly like to watch The Passion of Joan of Arc that is in the DVD player right now when I have the exact right window of time but instead I'm posting because

LOOK HOW SMUG THOSE LITTLE SHITS ARE, THEY KNOW THEY'RE GETTING HOT ASS.
Michael Fassbender happened to me. This guy has been hot shit all over my flist and RSS feeds for so long and I was like WHATEVS, the ladies were the best thing about Inglourious Basterds and he's not even all that hot anyway, well okay he was pretty hot in Jane Eyre.
Then I watched X-Men First Class the other day which is terrible and dumb as bricks except for the bits with McFassenberg. Well it was still pretty dumb but at least it felt like a real actual grown-up movie, what with all the gay chess. Then I watched Fish Tank which gets pretty fucked up and increasingly intense but starts out like this:

Which let me tell you NO-ONE LEAST OF ALL ME is ready for. Anyway it's a pretty fantastic movie and the central performance by Katie Jarvis is insane but yeah, it also has that.
So now I'm in a Fassbender phase. This year I have had many phases where I think a person is the most amazing person on the planet. I think I started with Katharine Hepburn. Then it was Rupert Everett, and Colin Firth. PJ Harvey. Elizabeth Taylor. Madeleine Khan. There is also an ongoing Walton Goggins phase, and concomitant Timothy Olyphant phase (I even watched I Am Number 4, which, DO NOT BOTHER); I really want to marry them.
I am also desperate to have a David Denick phase but I can't find any more of his goddamned movies, so I will have to wait for Tinker, Tailor, Soldier, Spy, OH THE AGONYYYYYYYYY. Do you know what else is coming out? TWO MORE FASSBENDER MOVIES. ONE OF THEM HAS VIGGO. It's already too much for my fragile constitution.
So it goes.
