nigeltdethe latest Supernatural blew my mind!
It was so freaking gross and creepy and eeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeew! I squealed like a girl at the doctor parts. He was a great villain, one of the show's best! It broke my heart how desperate Sam is to even consider turning Dean into that, when he was one of the doctor's victims!
Poor boys. Oh jeez. I'm glad even though they separated they didn't have a big rift in this episode. It would have broken my heart.
I liked the new hunter character (at the start I was like christ, show, get over your skeezy person of colour issues! And then I was like, yay! And then at the end I was like, christ, show! Cause the hunter guy was in league with Bella, right?). And I really liked Bella's backstory and her end and even what'sherface's acting (finally), it was quite brutal. But I thought it was a mistake to do the flashback to her abuse, it implied they didn't trust the actress to convey the story and emotions and it limited the our ability to imagine her story for ourselves. Plus, have we ever dipped into someone else's subjectivity when it wasn't diegetic, like Bobby's dream? But the second flashback balanced it a bit and provided a nice intimate scene to finish with.
Oh god I can't wait for next week!
