Seems like the past couple of weeks has been human tragedy after human tragedy, so it's nice to remember that some history is being made atm that is not in the least tragic. The Huygens probe is getting closer and closer to touching down on Titan. I am SO EXCITED. It feels like it's directly out of an Asimov short story and his Robot stuff was practically a religion to me growing up. It's just SO! COOL! vvvrrrrt, clank, blip, beep, and 67 minutes later the data reaches us and we've landed something on one of Saturn's moons! OMG! *spazzes out*

Ironically, they're watching Starship Troopers 2 in the other room. It is SO BAD. But I was never much of a Heinlein girl.
