Jan. 10th, 2005 10:26 amWell, that's it, I'm enrolled for another year. It's been weird because for quite some time now I've been planning to choose mostly English/literature-based courses, but the two European Studies courses I was *really* hanging out for have been cancelled (I think the lecturer, one of my favourites, has left for Hong Kong), and most of the English courses are uninteresting. So I'm doing almost all politics and philosophy in the end anyway. Plus, my first semester will be second-year courses, to catch up on those that I had to drop last year, and the second semester will be third year. And it'll be full time, so I will have to try to get my act together after a whole year of part-time study.
But here's the line-up:
SEM 1
PHIL 2024: Beauty - Pleasures and Principles
POLI 2001: Anarchism and Libertarianism
POLI 2074: Politics, Ideology and Discourse
SEM 2
ENGL 3035: Contemporary Medievalism - I'm really excited about this! It looks at all sorts of awesome stuff.
POLI 3079: Politics, Power and Pop Culture
There it is. Unfortunately, my first semester timetable means that I will have to cut my time at the hospital a little :-(
