You know, I get that Blixa has to do his own thing, and EN, and I like EN just as much if not more than the Bad Seeds. And maybe this means that he'll get around to doing Rede/Speech (the webcasts of which I managed to miss BOTH times) or maybe even Execution of Precious Memories in Australia. And I respect whatever he wants to do.
But waaaaaaaaaah! Mope. Mope.
Blixa has always been my favourite Bad Seed. In fact, my first proper encounter with the band was watching that lovely episode of the Nick and Blixa Show, How To Dance Around in a Gay, Gay Way (aka The Weeping Song film clip). And I fell in love, and subsequently found EN (et al). It feels really off to think of the Bad Seeds without him. It's just....waaaaaaaaaaaaah! :'-(
Does this mean no more live Weeping Song, Stagger Lee, Where the Wild Roses Grow, Stranger Than Kindness, etc? That's really sucky. It's all sucky. But he'll be back to guest like KCP and Hugo Race and Barry, right? Right?
