Jan. 2nd, 2003 11:39 pmI bought my geetar! Iss so preeeeety. Ibanez SR 205. It's also so different to the Yamaha; five strings, first off, so a much wider neck, which is I think also thinner. The strings are newer and better quality and their sound is so incredibly bright, which'd be nice if I was playing slap bass, y'know, but I'm not. Although I bloody will learn how to play Laquer Head. Still, it makes the harmonics easier to play even if they don't sound as smooooooth. I just jack up the bass on the amp anyway.
I wanna go to WOMAD but it's very expensive. I used almost all my birthday/xmas money buying Billy. Which is his name, incidentally, because I've decided he's definitely not a Bessie.
So, school has finished, and bye bye all pretense at grammar. I thought I was such a purist. How far the haughty fall.
Damn, I need better speakers. The unbassness (unbassiosity?) of this song is completely unacceptable. This is my absolute favourite Spinal Tap song. Too funny and catchy and cool and punny and bassy. Cracks me up.
