nigeltde: if trixie could just think hard enough she would undo everything (Default)
Looks like we'll be swapping out puny 33.3k link to the world for, say it, adsl! Fuck yes!. Net addict that I am, 33.3 (often translating to 28.8 or even 14.4 for a variety of reasons) has NEVER been enough. I should be getting 256kbps for an extra ten bucks a month. The only problem is that I know I'll be going d/l mental. *celebrates*

ION, I don't write (prose) that much, really only when inspiration doesn't let me not note stuff down, and even then it remains as notes. Last night I was writing a story, a POV piece about Raise the Red Lantern for English, and I was pretty much blindsided with ideas and absolutely loved what I was getting down. Then I finished and I hated it and now I can't think about it without cringing. So, like I said, I don't have much experience writing prose seriously, and I was wondering if this happens to other people.... Regardless of the merit of the actual piece, does time Make It All Better (ie, do you eventually gain objectivity), or is this heading for the Repression Bin?
