I'm going to see Queen of the Dammned in an hour or two. It'll be pretty, but crap is my guess. *sigh* What I put up with for eye candy.....*g*
Plus, heh heh, I got my dad to read Harry Potter today. That means I've got him listening to NIN, Manson, Placebo, and Nick Cave, watching Buffy, Stargate, South Park, Good News Week (when it was on) and Black Books, and reading Christopher Pike, John Marsden (both of whom I don't even read anymore) and Harry Potter. I am the queen, and you are all my little piglets. Come to me, come to me my little piglets. Mother will tell you what to do.
So, my next mission in life is to get him to like Neubauten; he thinks that Wüste is sung by a woman (can't blame him, really) and while he recognises the fact that Blixa is coolness in a pinstiped three-piece, he can't get a handle on the band. I think that the Birthday Party is a lost cause - he ran screaming when I tried to play King Ink to him, and that's one of the tamer ones. My bass teacher had the same reaction, come to think of it. Hmm.
