It's not a video of me sitting mesmerised, mind, with drool hanging from my chin at the sight of Noel's highlights. Actually, it's their appearance at the 2001 Melbourne Comfest Gala. In retrospect they seem a little lost without their trappings (the next year they did stuff from their stage show at the gala) but it was love at first sight for me and it felt like they'd fallen off the face of the planet before I spotted Season 1 on SBS a couple years ago. But anyway -- look how young Julian looks! Look at their clothes!!
"I'll come 'round to your house and put lego in your eyes" is one of the most brilliant things ever and I am guilty of overusing it in everyday speech. See also its cousin, Gene Hunt's "I'll come 'round your 'ouse and stomp on all yer toys."
