It may sound like it the new clubbing craze, but Nicole Ritchie's "Baby Bump" is not something you would bop to one of her father's (Lionel Ritchie) songs. In a shocking revelation, FAMOUS magazine has learned that the sexy socialite, who has always struggled with her weight, is locked in a life-and death stuggle--and may be gaining more than a few pounds!
That's right: Nicole is to become the latest in a long line of Hollywood leading ladies to become pregnant. Ritchie's beau of three months, model/country-music artist Sven Svengali, is probably the baby's father.
Nicole was shocked when she had the pregnancy confirmed.
"She's extremely worried about her health," a close friend confided. "She really doesn't want to look fat, or like a snake that has swallowed a beachball." Nicole is also planning on starting to think about having another book ghostwritten, and is concerned that the stress might affect the pregnancy. "I'm not Christina Aguilera," said Nicole. "I don't change my look every second. I'm just plain old me, and that's what people love. The way I look is an important part of that, so why should I change?"
Mischa Barton, Nicole's best pal, has pleaded with Nicole to have the baby, apparently saying that Nicole would be able to afford a great nanny to raise the kid. But are her impulses pure?
"Mischa sees an opportunity here," an inside source revealed to us. "She's sick of being seen as fatter than Nicole and she wants to get back her status as reigning Queen of Thin."
