The latest issue of Sequential Tart has a great interview with Adam Hughes. He says that his favourite work ever is his Wonder Woman covers, which is awesome because although they're not Dave McKean revolutionary I think they're some of the best covers, ever. They're pretty much the reason I ever picked up WW in the first place and I'll always love him for it. I was talking before about how much I love Johnson's recent work on the comic itself and to be honest I doubt Hughes's style would work as well in interiors. Conversely, Johnsons's cover on the latest but one did very little for me.

Also, wow! Lainy, Amber Benson is apparently writing comics too, how cool is that? Warning: Article contains word "faerie". Goddamn I hate that spelling.

Their review section also pointed me towards Alien Loves Predator, a brilliant webcomic. Syndicated, too, which makes it nice and easy: alienlovespred.
